Q: Is a Teflon skillet better than a stainless steel one?
A:
People have very different preferences when it comes to Teflon and
cookware. Some people love how easily they can wash their dishes
after making a messy meal. Frying eggs is so easy; you can just
slip right out of the pan when they are done. On the other hand,
Teflon skillets generally do not last as long. Inevitably, someone
will use a fork to stir or scrape the bottom in some other way,
and the magic of Teflon is gone. Regular skillets may be harder
to clean, but if you simply soak them and use a steel scouring pad,
they clean easily (do not use a steel scouring pad on your Teflon
ware!)
