Q: What is the difference between cookware and bakeware?

Q: What is the difference between cookware and bakeware?A: To put it simply, cookware is comprised of cooking items meant for use on a stove or range (like a skillet, soup pot, etc.). Bakeware, on the other hand, is meant for the oven. Many people consider cookware to be what you use to make meals (like eggs, soups, spaghetti, etc.) and bakeware to be what you use to make desserts (cakes, cookies, muffins, etc.), but this is not fully correct. You can make desserts over the stove, in cookware. And you can make meals in the oven, in bakeware.
